hmm...I don't speak French, but I think the Lens goalie was reminding Bordeaux they only got 1 past him...or maybe that they play in Ligue 1, and should act that way...or that his water is #1 in France for goalies who play for Lens...but he's certainly not talking about their place in the standings...

Yoga is cool...if you're flexible

So proud of my wife Jess today, she taught her first yoga class, and none of her students knew it was her first time...I'm sure they all heard Foreigner in their heads as they twisted into the Eagle pose...let's hope this horse & rider will be ready soon enough...

Old School...

I love my soccer shoes...they feel great...but what I love most is that they're plain old, no-frills black & white...as they should be...

I guess that's the old-school attitude in me...I just remember when everyone on the field had black shoes, and sometimes they were solid black, no white stripes or anything...

 

I admit I wore some steel blue shoes for a couple of years, and I really liked those too. But only because Adidas didn't have the same model in black and white like I wanted...but I'll always be partial to my good ol' plain janes...







guh...

So, I was listening to Why Today Doesn't Suck on the Ticket, and birthdays come along...well, Dan gets to Method Man and says he's 39 today...the first thought that came to my head was "wow, he's old", and I was really oblivious to the fact that he's only a month and a half older than me...it took me a second to realize he said 39, and to remember that I'm not 29 anymore...

Crazy Haley

Wow, 4 months since my last visit...lots has happened, but the biggest thing has probably been the addition of the newest member of our family, little Haley...

She is nuts...crazy...beyond what Jake was...miles...

She has now discovered that rabbits visit the back yard and dammit, if they can squeeze through the back fence, then so can she...I need to fix that...

But she loves us, and we love her...I guess that's what's most important...
